To protect a healthy retreat environment, we are setting the following covid protocols:

Retreatants will each take a covid home-kit test at home the morning of October 15th, before travel to the BBar ranch.
– If negative, please take a photo of your results to present at registration as proof of a negative test.
– If positive, please go to a clinic where a PCR test can be administered for confirmation. If this PCR test is negative, you may proceed to the retreat. If positive, you’re asked to bow out of the retreat with a full refund.

Masks will not be required at the BBar unless you develop symptoms. Masks are optional and encouraged for anyone who would like to minimize risk.

Anyone who develops respiratory or cold/cough-like symptoms during the retreat should wear a mask, report these symptoms to the retreat managers, and take a test to rule out covid. If a covid test is positive, we ask that you leave the retreat for a PCR test confirmation and return or go home, depending on the result.

We will run an air purifier in the meditation hall/yurt during the breaks and use hand sanitizer for food and tea service.

We ask that everyone avoid crowded situations as much as possible for the 6 days prior to retreat (from October 8th on) and mask when essential to be in close quarters in public spaces. This would include a music concert, crowded theater, bar or airport/airplane.

A participant who experiences any symptoms of illness (even mild) after October 1st must take a covid test and inform the registrar if it’s positive. There must be at least seven days from testing positive and a new, negative test result to attend the retreat.

To be eligible for this retreat, we require you to agree to the following:

  • To abide by all covid-19 health and safety protocols in place at the retreat, which at the time may be more stringent than those you practice at home, those of your regional health officials or the CDC.

  • To test prior to arrival and bring a time-stamped photo of your negative result to the BBar, or call and report any positive test results.

  • To wear a mask if you develop symptoms during the retreat.

  • To bow out of the retreat if you test positive on Oct 15, or anytime after Oct 10th.

  • To leave the retreat if you test positive for covid during the 5-days there.

  • To avoid and/or wear a mask in crowded public spaces for the 6 days prior to retreat.

  • After October 1st, to take a covid test at any sign of illness and notify us immediately if it is positive.

Thank you for your integrity and efforts to create a healthy, supportive environment for everyone attending the retreat. We all will benefit from each other’s care and wise decisions.
